The scholarship that I have received from the Capital One National Junior Golf Academy has helped me tremendously with my post-secondary education. This scholarship has helped alleviate financial burden from my mother who does not have the ability to provide monetary funds for my education.
I respect and appreciate the goals of NJGA, which is to help youth who are economically disadvantaged and also face other barriers in society. I am appreciative of this organization because I am a student who once faced many of those challenges. I am truly grateful to represent NJGA.

The Capital One National Junior Golf Academy Scholarship is greatly benefitting me and my parents financially as well as giving me an excellent opportunity to learn about the National Junior Golf Academy. Living away from my home city while attending university is costly and this scholarship is helping me pay my tuition and living expenses. This has allowed me to stay focused on my academics and pursue my goal of becoming a doctor. Also, it has helped relieve the financial burden of university expenses on me and my parents and given me the chance to volunteer at the Capital One National Junior Golf Academy's Invitational Golf Tournament Fundraiser. It is thanks to them that I am able to learn about golf as a sport and the programs they have teaching children golf and how it builds one's character. I have learned that it is an enjoyable sport that requires practise and dedication to perfect and how it is a sport where everyone is on an even playing field despite size and strength.
In addition, I have gained an experience volunteering at an amazing sporting event being able to see famous golf players and watch them play professionally with my very own eyes. I have acquired an unforgettable experience volunteering at the golf tournament fundraiser hoping to create more remarkable memories with them for the years to come.
Once again, I would like to thank the Capital One National Junior Golf Academy for presenting me with the scholarship helping me pursue my dream towards becoming a doctor.

The Capital One National Junior Golf Academy Scholarship has benefited me and my parents in so many ways. While in post-secondary, there are so many financial issues that came unexpected. The expenses pile up from tuition, textbooks, transportation, food and so much more. This scholarship has taken care of most of my expenses which left me and my parents stress and worry free.
The NJGA scholarship has put me in the appropriate mindset for post-secondary. It has given me a great boost in confidence and motivation. The GPA average that must be obtained has been nothing but motivation for me. When I do my work, I always think of that 3.0 that I must maintain. This average motivates me to learn and try my best in school.

Capital One National Junior Golf Academy Scholarship has assisted my family in sharing an incredible amount of financial burden. Engineering is one of the reputable programs in Canada, yet the associated cost, for many, has also been daunting. Luckily, I became one of the many fortunate scholarship alumni because the NJGA strives to help young individuals pursue their dreams and promote the importance of education.
The scholarship has enabled me to pursue my post-secondary education with much less financial difficulties, and I will continue to give back to my community.

The Capital One National Junior Golf Academy Scholarship has benefited me tremendously. Personally, it gave me a reason to believe that I can achieve my academic and career goals when I put the hard work into it.
I find that it gave me a great boost in self-esteem and allowed me to prove to myself that I can accomplish my dreams and goals. Financially the scholarship could not have come at a better time. I come from a very low-income house hold, and I have one other sibling that my mother and biological father are supporting throughout college. I am currently using OSAP, along with my personal savings and the help of the scholarship to pay my tuition and get me through the school year. It also boosted my moral. I understand that I cannot keep the scholarship unless I achieve a certain grade point average or higher. This has given me an extra incentive to peruse good grades within my program and do everything with excellence.
The help of Capitol One and the National Junior Gold Academy has been absolutely priceless and vital in my success in this season of my life.
